But, as 1 Corinthians states, "None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." The cross was the Trojan horse into Hell that led to Christ’s ultimate victory over sin, death, and the wicked supernatural entities that ruled over this world.
